The Citizen CT-S801 thermal receipt printer is a new line of "Intelligent" printers that offers Top Exit thermal receipt printing and a back lit graphic LCD display that provides communicates functions. The Citizen CT-S801 direct thermal printer is fully compatible with previous Citizen receipt printer models with auto-cut and with competitive manufacturer brands, including the Epson and Bixolon receipt printers with auto-cut. Frustrated when your printer unexpectedly runs out of paper? The Citizen CT-S801 two-line LCD display alerts the operator: "Paper end" "Please change paper." Alternatively, if the front cover is open "F cover open" "Please close front cover." There is an "apps" provided to customize, change or edit the display message on the LCD message window. The Citizen CT-S801 prints receipts at 300mm per second, providing very fast and silent printing results. In addition, the CT-S801 has the ability to send the printer status back, includes a built in buzzer for audible alert, and internal power supply for a clean, uncluttered appearance. The CT-S801 internal memory is large enough to store logos, footers, custom fonts, keywords and has the capability to download custom applications. The Citizen CT-S801 can be placed on the desktop or wall-mounted. Printer drivers are included with the Citizen CT-S801 thermal receipt printer. The CT-S801's delivers greater reliability, longer cutter life and lower maintenance costs adding to the value of the CT-S801 thermal printer.
