The Epson TM-U230 single-station impact printer is ruggedized to provide reliable, high-quality performance in kitchen environments. Built with the same high quality and reliability of the Epson TM-U200B impact receipt printer, the new Epson TM-U230 kitchen printer offers fast, one- and two-color (red/black) order printing at up to 6.4 lines per second along with an exceptionally durable case that resists spills, dirt, bacteria and harsh kitchen conditions. Because space is often a premium in busy kitchens, the Epson TM-U230 kitchen printer can be installed on a counter or wall using an optional wall-hanging bracket. Paper loading is semi-automatic, and the Epson TM-U230 kitchen printer has "near-end paper" and "paper out" sensors, with a built in buzzer alert. For easy reading, character fonts are user-selectable as either 7 x 9 or 9 x 9 dots. In addition, an AUTO Status Back (ASB) function automatically transmits printer status messages to the host system for simplified maintenance. The compact and dependable Epson TM-U230 kitchen printer is specially designed to withstand the rigors of high-volume kitchen environments. It offers exceptional reliability, with an MCBF of 18 million lines, an MTBF of 180,000 hours and an auto-cutter life of one million cuts. |
