The Genesis 7580 presentation area-imaging scanner is engineered to decode all standard 1D, PDF and 2D codes. The Genesis 7580 area imager provides breakthrough performance and a versatile form factor making it suitable for multiple applications including manufacturing, healthcare and retail Point-of-Sale. The Honeywell Genesis 7580 utilizes CodeGate technology along with an activation button that supports menu-scanning and other targeted-scanning applications. The Genesis 7580 area imager has four dedicated memory banks, each one capable of storing full configuration settings for easy set-up and installation. Automatic cable detection and configuration further simplifies the installation process. The Honeywell Genesis 7580 area imager utilizes shielded LEDs to minimize the intense flashing common among other area imagers. CodeSelect allows the Genesis 7580 area imager to capture up to seven bar codes in a single flash and output data in any predetermined order. EasyDL TotalFreedom formatting plug-in expands the Genesis 7580 area imager's funtionality by allowing formatting, parsing and decoding plug-ins to be loaded directly to the Genesis 7580 instead of the host system.
