The Honeywell MS1690 Focus is a high performance hand-held area imager. The MS1690 Focus omni-directional barcode scanner decodes virtually all of today's standard barcodes including 1D, RSS, PDF417, microPDF, EAN/UCC Composite, Matrix and Postal Codes regardless of orientation. Where image capture is concerned, the MS1690 Focus combines a high-resolution CMOS sensor with an extremely powerful processor to provide a wide array of outputs at high rates of speed. Honeywell MS1690 Focus™ barcode scanner provides users with increased throughput for virtually all 1D and 2D bar code reading applications - including poorly printed or damaged bar codes - by incorporating high resolution imaging, FirstFlash™ scanning technology, and true contact reading into an affordable solution. The Honeywell MS1690 Focus is available with EasyDL Software installed. Honeywell’s EasyDL software plug-in parses bar code data found on government-issued identification card for applications involving age verification or automatic electronic form population. Powered by Honeywell’s TotalFreedom® open-system architecture, EasyDL eliminates the need for host system software to process the encoded information contained within 1D and 2D bar codes on documents such as military issued IDs, driver’s licenses and driver’s permits. EasyDL can be pre-installed on select Honeywell imaging products or purchased as a standalone upgrade. After installing the plug-in, a simple programming sequence enables you to transmit up to 24 data fields in any order you choose. Separate fields by selecting one of six available delimiters. |
