The Magtek Centurion secure card reader authenticator utilizes the industry standard, Triple DES encryption specifically designed to meet PCI DSS requirements to secure cardholder data. The Magtek Centurion magnetic card reader enables retailers to “future proof” their POS applications with support for both today’s traditional applications and tomorrow’s advanced security requirements. The Magtek Centurion secure card reader authenticator is 100% interface compatible as a replacement to all traditional MagTek readers while also providing advanced security features including card authentication, data encryption, and device/host authentication to be activated when higher security is desired. |
